Who we are
Video Shop LLC operates videoshopproductions.com and provides video production services. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how and when we will communicate with you.
Information you give us
When you request a quote, contact us, or open the Story Starter, you may share your name, company, email, phone number, the kind of video you are considering, and project details. We use this to respond to you, to provide our services, and, only if you say yes, to stay in touch.
The Story Starter
To open the Story Starter we ask for your name, company, and email, with phone optional. The answers you type are saved only in your own browser. They reach us only if you choose Send to Video Shop. Downloading a PDF or emailing yourself a copy happens on your device and does not send your answers to us. We are simply notified that you kept a copy and how many questions you answered.
How we communicate
When you open the Story Starter, Adam sends one short thank you a few hours later so you know it found you. That is the only email you will get unless you check the box saying follow up is okay, send us your answers, or write to us. If you check the box, expect a couple of personal notes about your project over the next few weeks and, now and then, stories and ideas from our work, never more than about once a month. We will not text you, and we will only call if you give us your number and ask us to. Every follow up includes a simple way to say stop.
Saying stop
Reply stop to any email from us, or email info@videoshopproductions.com, and we will stop contacting you within ten business days. Saying stop never affects work we are already doing together.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information we have about you at any time by emailing info@videoshopproductions.com.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our host may record basic visit data such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and time of visit. We use it to keep the site secure and understand how it is used.
Cookies and local storage
This site does not use advertising cookies. The Story Starter uses your browser's local storage to save your answers so you can come back to them. You can clear it at any time with the Start fresh link or your browser settings.
Service providers
We use trusted providers to run this site: Cloudflare to host it, Vimeo to play some of our films, Web3Forms to deliver form messages to our inbox, and Resend to send our emails. They may process your information only to perform those services for us.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We do not share it with anyone except the providers above or when required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep your contact details while we are in touch or working together, and delete them when you ask or when they are no longer needed.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information. No method of sending or storing data online is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Other websites
Our site may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
Children
Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If we learn we have, we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page.
