Simplicity and clarity.

A minute or two that makes a complicated idea feel obvious.

Complex, made simple.

Our work

Recent explainers.

Hard to explain? That is the point.

Animated explainers are usually a minute or two long. In that time they can make a complex idea simple, clear, and easy to remember.

We start with your audience's real pain points, then show your product or service as the answer in a way that sticks.

Script, storyboard, illustration, motion, voiceover, and music all come from one team, so the message stays tight from start to finish.

Explainers are produced fully remotely, so we work with teams anywhere in the US. Kickoff, script reviews and storyboard approvals all happen over video calls and shared review links.

FAQ

Questions about animated explainers.

How much does an animated explainer cost?

Custom 60 to 90 second explainers from professional studios commonly run from about $3,000 to $25,000. Illustration style, the number of scenes and how custom the characters are drive the price more than length does. See our video production cost guide for the details.

How long should an explainer video be?

For most products and services, 60 to 90 seconds. Viewer engagement holds steady up to about two minutes and drops quickly after that, so we write to the shortest length that still makes your point. More in How long should an explainer video be?

How long does it take to make one?

Usually six to eight weeks: script, storyboard, design, animation, then voice and sound. You sign off on each stage before we move to the next, so there are no surprises at the end.

Do you work with companies outside Tennessee?

Yes. Explainers are made entirely remotely, so where you are does not matter. Everything from kickoff to final approval happens over video calls and shared review links.

Who writes the script?

We do, with you. We interview you and your team, draft the script, and refine it together until it sounds like you. You approve every word before any animation starts.

What styles do you offer?

Clean motion graphics, illustrated characters, live action combined with graphics, and product or screen walkthroughs. We recommend the style that fits your audience and your budget.
